Casey Krawczyk (b. 1978) earned her B.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and her M.F.A. from the New York Academy of Art (NYAA). Currently residing in Upstate New York, Casey was significantly influenced by her upbringing in rural Minnesota and the prominent Finnish and Indigenous cultures of the region, which encouraged a deep connection to nature. Her work presents a harmonious blend of meticulous detail and a profound connection with nature, reflecting her diverse background and artistic education. Casey has several years of teaching experience; she was a professor at Western State Colorado for 8 years before returning to the northeast to raise her family, focus on painting, and continue to share her love of teaching through workshops. Her work can be seen at Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, SC, Peter Jung Fine Arts in Hudson, NY and Keating Fine Art in Basalt, CO.
