Each of the paintings in this section was painted with the utmost care over several hundred hours. I consider this section of my portfolio my finest, professional work. Progress takes time, and I love the tedium of the task. Focus is a meditation, and the stillness required for a stroke slows, then stalls the breath—a hyper-focused state where one is aware of the minutiae and the greater picture simultaneously.
