Join us for a journey into the world of oil painting as you create your own stunning interpretation of a Lake Superior scene. This one day workshop is perfect for beginners and those with some experience looking to improve their landscape painting skills.

What you will learn:

-How to confidently plan and execute a landscape painting

-Essential oil painting techniques for creating realistic scenes 

-A deeper understanding of color mixing and value, which can be applied to any painting project.

Cadmium Lemon Yellow

Cadmium Yellow Light

Cadmium Scarlet

Alizarin Crimson

Transparent Oxide Red

Viridian

Ultramarine Blue

Pthalo Blue

Burnt Umber

Raw Umber

Ivory Black or Payne’s Grey

Additional Materials

Assorted Long Handled Brushes 

Palette

Palette knife

Odorless Mineral Spirits (OMS)

Container with lid for OMS

Liquin and container 

Rags or Viva paper towels
